Beverly Lou Adler (Hahn) left her earthly struggles behind to be with our Lord on Tuesday, July 17, 2012. Beverly was born in Alpena, Michigan on January 6, 1934 to Ervin and Evelyn Hahn. Although she left Michigan with her family in 1951 to come to Texas, all things Michigan forever occupied a special place in her heart!
She married the love of her life, Jessie (Jack) Adler on June 29, 1956. He predeceased in June 2011, just shy of their 55th wedding anniversary. She leaves behind to mourn her loss her three children. Debbie Smith (Michael), David Adler (Linda), and Kenneth Adler (Prudence); two grandchildren, Stephanie Smith Riley (Jonathan), Joshua Adler, and great-grandson, Andrew Riley; her sister Sandra Faulkner, brother, Robert Hahn, and adopted grandson Matthew Moschkau.
She also leaves behind her faithful and loving caregivers, Maria Peralta, Mona Espinoza and Lola Castro who have been by her side for several years following her stroke. Beverly will be remembered as a wonderful and loving wife, mother and grandmother, a kind, caring friend who was always there and put others before herself. She was beautiful both inside and out, and her faith was evident by the way she lived her life. She was a beloved and gentle soul and she is now at peace.
A memorial service will be held for Beverly at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church, 1000 Montana Ave. on Monday, July 23, 2012 at 3:30 p.m.
