Billy Frazier, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, and dear friend, passed away on September 20, 2026, at the age of 84.
Billy was a devoted husband to his wife, Mary, for over 65 years. He was a loving father to his daughter, Jan, and son, Mark. He was a cherished father-in-law to Todd and a proud grandfather to Bryan. He is survived by his devoted sister, Wanda Whiteside. Besides his love for his God, Jehovah, his family was one of the greatest sources of love and happiness in his life.
Billy was a man who cared deeply about people. He was a loyal friend, always willing to share a laugh, lend a helping hand, or offer a few words of West Texas wisdom. He had a wonderful way of putting life into perspective. Billy would often say, “Four hundred years from now, none of this will matter.” Those words reflected his ability to look beyond the worries of the moment and focus on the things that truly mattered.
Billy was one of Jehovah’s Witnesses, dedicating his life to Jehovah in 1973. His love for Jehovah God and his faith in the promises found in the Bible were the most important part of his life. He treasured the hope of the resurrection—the Bible’s promise that those who have died will live again in a restored earthly paradise under God’s Kingdom. Psalms 37:10, 11.
Because of that hope, Billy’s family does not view death as the end. They look forward to the day when Jehovah will remember Billy and call him back to life. As Jesus promised at John 5:28, 29, “The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out.” The thought of being all together on a restored paradise earth the way Jehovah intended it, all in good health brings comfort and peace to the family. For now, Billy rests in the safest place, in Jehovah’s memory. The day will come when these difficult times will not even be recalled to mind. Isaiah 65:17
Billy leaves behind a legacy of love, faith, friendship, and memories that will never be forgotten. His family will miss his presence, his humor, his wisdom, and the unique way he reminded everyone not to take life too seriously.
Until the day Jehovah brings him back, Billy will remain deeply loved and fondly remembered. We look forward to seeing him again in Jehovah’s promised new world. Rev 21:3,4.
Thank you to all the friends and family who have been there for dad and the family. You mean more to us than you will ever know.
