Blanche M Sterne

Blanche Melvia Hardin Sterne, was born Jan. 19th, 1930 in Arkadelphia, Arkansas and died April 2nd, 2017 in El Paso, Texas at the age of 87. She was married to the late Justus Posey, and then to Lee Sterne. She worked for many years at C. R. Anthony’s. She loved travel, reading, crafts, & cooking. She was one of 8 children of the late Elmer Lee and Tessie Ethel Thornton Hardin. She is survived by her sister Betty Reagan, son Tommy Posey, step-daughter Claire Hack, step-son Mel Sterne, and grandchildren Bretley Posey, Erik Porsberg, Tonya Portman, Corinne Caraveo, Will and Thomas Hack, Jessie Colis, John Sterne, and great-grandchildren Peyton and Ethan Posey, Cooper and Carter Portman, Georgia and Gianna Caraveo, Giovanni Morgan, Kasey Porsberg, Damon, Cale, Abbe and Ben Colis(& their spouses).

A Visitation will be held Friday, April 7, 2017 beginning at 6:00 pm. with a memorial service to follow at 7:00 pm at Martin Funeral Home West 128 N. Resler Drive.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to her favorite cause – the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
