Brenda J. Player

Brenda Joanne Mckinzie Player passed away September 13th, 2015. Born in Phenix City, AL and living the second half of her life in El Paso, TX, Brenda was a truly loving and caring person who touched the lives of many that had the opportunity to meet her. Her passion was her grandchildren and spoiling them endlessly. An avid reader, there was always a book (or later her Kindle) within reach. She also enjoyed traveling and trips to Las Vegas especially for Bingo, her favorite pastime. High energy and activity characterized her and by no small coincidence she was already planning out her next road trip. Preceded in death by her husband Gary in 2011, she is survived by her sons Jason, Jacob and Jarrod and their wives Ana, Lorraine and Erin. She is also survived by her adored grandchildren, James Royce, Corina, Ivana, Avery and Mackenzie. Her memorial service to celebrate her life will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home 1060 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX 79915 on Friday September 18th at 6pm.
