BRIGIDO VARGAS, 88, passed away in El Paso on April 10, 2014. He was born in National City, California on October 19, 1925, the son of Pedro Vargas and Maria Chavez. Brigido is survived by his sons: Juan, Raul, Alfredo, Rafael, Brigido Jr., and George Vargas; daughters: Rosa Jimenez, Irma Delgado, Maria Ramirez, Gloria Vargas, and Isela Arenas, brother: Julian Vargas; sister: Natividad Vargas; 25 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren. Visitation will be held 5:00 to 9:00 p.m. Friday, April 25, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 p.m. Funeral mass will be held at 9:00 a.m. Saturday, April 26, 2014 at Cristo Rey Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
