Mrs. Calixta S. Muro, 98 years of age, entered peacefully, surrounded by family, into the kingdom of Heaven on March 17th 2026. She was preceded in death by her husband Mr. Jesus Muro. She is survived by her children, Blas J. Muro, Maria Muro Betts, Julieta Gomez (Antonio), Bertha L. Soto, Gregorio Muro (deceased), Ana M. Dominguez (Michael), Humberto Muro, Alfonso Muro (Emma), Rosa L. Muro and Alejandro Muro, 21 grandchildren, 36 great grandchildren and 19 great-great grandchildren.

The Muro Family will receive relatives & friends on Tuesday March 24, 2026 from 5pm-9pm at Martin Funeral Home East with recitation of the Holy Rosary at 7pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday March 25, 2026 at 11:00 am at San Antonio De Padua Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetary.
