Carl and I reconnected this year after many years of loss in communication-we managed to play a few chess games on the computer and over the phone like we had shared in high school. Our friendship continued as he went to Viet Nam and I went off to college-but like all friendships we had parted ways. I wish Carl peace and to his family strength in your time of mourning-remember the good times.

This is my brother, Buddy (the family nickname) after his Confirmation in November 1961 with Mary & Marty Kasinec, our next door neighbors. Marty was Buddy's confirmation godfather. This was in our kitchen in Port Reading, NJ.

All is well now...Janet
