A prayer and condolences to coach's family. I was fortunate to have been on the state cross-country championship team under his guidance. We could not have won without him. But the greatest prize was all that he taught us about life away from the track field. God bless you, Coach Cordova, may you rest in peace.

My deepest condolences to Carlos' family. He was a great man and a great classmate to all of us in the Bowie class of '46. We remember him fondly.

My deepest condolences.  He was a great man.  He was a great friend to my parents growing up with my mother in south El Paso and going to Bowie.  I'll always remember Mr. Cordova as a considerate fair Board Member supporting Administration in all we did.  He was a good man.  God bless the Cordova family and bring you comfort in all the great memories of better times.

Every time I ran into Mr. Cordova, he had something positive to tell me. As an educator myself, he taught me how important it is to teach in the public schools. May you rest in Peace Mr. Cordova, you will be missed!
