Carlos Enrique Loeza, 64, passed away peacefully on September 13, 2026. He was born to Carlos Enrique Loeza and Epifania Rosas Loeza in Mexico City and came to El Paso at age 7, where he lived most of his life.
Carlos lived the American Dream, building himself and his family up through a lifetime of hard work. He was soft-spoken and lived an industrious life. Even in his free time, he loved to work on his house, to work on his fitness, or to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. In his moments of relaxation, he preferred to be around friends and family, to laugh and joke, and to play with his dogs (Bella and Mitzi). In later life, he became a frequent traveler, enjoying adventures and resorts in beautiful and ancient places with his wife.
Carlos is preceded in death by his mother, Epifania Rosas Loeza.
He is survived by his wife of 25 years, Margie Villalobos Loeza. Together they prospered, traveled the world, and built the life of their dreams. He is also survived by his father, Carlos Enrique Loeza, and his siblings Joe (Shanna) Loeza, Martha (Rene) Martinez, and Diana (Alberto) Lomeli. They will miss him and will always look up to their big brother. His two children, Richard (Abi) Loeza and Stasha (Dylan) Loeza, owe Carlos everything; he taught them how to live. His two grandchildren will grow up hearing stories and lessons from their grandpa and from those lessons learn the values that make for a good and fulfilling life. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews, Joey Loeza, Ashli Ballew, Alex Martinez, Anna Martinez, Albert Lomeli Jr and Adam Lomeli.
Carlos was the first in his family to attend college and graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1987 with a B.S. in Electrical Engineering. He spent his career in sales and engineering, touching his colleagues with his diligence, leadership, and mentorship.
After a lifetime of work, Carlos is finally resting.
