Carlos Augusto Loweree, born on May 23, 1928, reached his heavenly rest on Saturday, September 28, surrounded by his family. Pop was a devoted son, brother, husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather; lifelong El Pasoan; graduate of Cathedral High and Texas Western College; decorated Korean War veteran; active member of the Catholic community. Pop was an insurance adjuster for 33 years but retired from the workforce as an elementary school teacher. He valued hard work, service to country, but above all his family and his faith.
