Disbelief...these couple of days have been hard to comprehend. I keep telling God, "God, you took my friend".  Even though I know in my heart not to question ..but uh..why God? Charlie was the first and many times the last face we would see at HMS.  It wasn't unusual to hear him say things like, "Good morning Sunshine" or "The eagle has landed".  He had the most wonderful sense of humor and enjoyed planning his tailgating gatherings. He often talked about his daughter, fishing and grilling skills. In my first year at HMS, he dressed up and performed as Elvis. It was special. He was special.  Charlie had our back and was a gem.  I can picture Charlie continuing to be the person he was here, in heaven, fishing with his Pops. I will miss you my friend!! God took you and he took the best. Forever Young, Forever Elvis. Peace.

I've known Charlie since high school and EPCC. I worked with Charlie at HMS (Clint ISD) as well. Charlie was just Charlie. He would say funny things that would catch you off guard but they were true.  If your day was going terrible, this man had a sense of humor to bring a smile to your face. 
My friend of so many years, you will be greatly missed. I will always treasure when you would tell me, go apply for that job and don't let anyone intimidate you. Give it your best and always succeed at your goals.

Do you remember our bear hugs? I do.
What about peeling chile with grandpa? I remember. How about going to putt-putt a driving go carts with me in the passanger seat? That was fun. Or your metallica shirt that you always wore. The list of memories can go on forever, and they mean so much to me. I wish I could hug you one more time, and I didnt get a chance to tell you but I Love You.

My condolences to his wife, daughter, mother and family. I used to like visiting Charlie in his office especially after a long day he always had a stash of chocolate saved for me. My most memorable memory of Charlie was when I had requested a CPR mannequin dog he laughed and said why don't you just get the real thing there are so many out here running around MVHS. It's the way he said it that made it so funny. For some reason I am always coming across dogs in need of a home, I can't remember how many times I had approached Charlie asking him to take another dog home, he finally gave in and adopted a dog for his daughter. He was funny, caring and a good friend he will dearly be missed and never be forgotten we are part of the Lobo family.
