She is survived by son David Piñon; son Pedro Piñon; son George Piñon; son Henry Piñon; daughter Mary Calderon; and daughter Carmen Uribe.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband David T Piñon; son Hector Piñon and daughter Martha Mendoza.
Ms. Piñon leaves 23 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren, and 6 great-great-grandchildren to cherish her memories.
Carmen was a devoted Catholic and was a parishioner of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church since the early 50's. She was part of the Guadalupans, Carmelitas and Adoracion Nocturna. She was a very generous, humble and giving person, always putting the needs of others ahead of her own. At her home, everyone (family, friends, neighbors, and even strangers) were always welcomed and offered a place on her table, with a ready made meal.
A visitation for Carmen will be held Monday, June 28, 2021 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM with a rosary reciting at 6pm at Crestview Funeral Home, 1462 North Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX. A funeral mass will be held Tuesday, June 29, 2021 at 10:00 AM at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church, 131 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX. Interment will follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX
