Casimiro Rodriguez 89 of Canutillo TX, went to be with the lord and his wife of 50 years Maria “Chata” Rodriguez on September 28, 2021. They leave behind their 3 children: Elena Hernandez (Juan), Casimiro “Cachy” Rodriguez (Patricia) and Patricia Lopez (Manuel). His grandchildren: Carlos, Jonathan, Priscilla, Delilah, Steven, Matthew, Casimiro III, Teresa, Ramon, Esmeralda and Evelyn, 12 great grandchildren, 6 brothers, 1 sister and many nieces and nephews. Casimiro was born in Galeana MX on March 4, 1932 where he spent much of his childhood, then he came to the United States where he met the love of his life Maria. They were married at St. Matthews Catholic Church in El Paso Tx. Casimiro enjoyed reading his spiritual books, praying, playing cards and going to Helping Hands Adult Daycare. His grandchildren knew him as tato and remember how he use to run from their house in Westway to the base of the Franklin Mountains and back. He was known for his sense of humor and his unique sayings. When you would ask him Tato como estas He would proudly say with his fist up Pretty good con papas. His family would like to thank the staff at Cimarron Rehabilitation and Nursing home where he spent his last year of life. They would also like to thank all the family and friends who have reached out to them during this difficult time. Casimiro will truly be missed.
