I first met chad when i was 17 through a friend of mine..And Chad drove me from Elpaso to Newbraunfels tx..omg was he something else!! I remember we only had one cd that was a single by filter and so we listened to that the whole way and ofcorse chads stories!! Omg we had a huge rotwiler with us named Brutis!! And when we got to the check point Brutis started barking and acting crazy!! and it got alot better from there..chad was driving with his knees!! Hanging out the window with a cigerette in one hand and a beer in the other yelling at the dog with our one song on repeat for the next 600 miles!! The story was epic and wow what a first impression!! It would take way to long to type it all!! Needless to say when we finally got to New Braunfels he grabbed his bag and his golf clubs and made him self right at home!! He moved on in married my mom and became my step dad for awhile and boy that was a blast!! I miss those days it was alot of four wheelers and fun!! He was just a joy to hang out with and even after he divorced my mom we all were still friends....Chad and i always had a bond and a good relationship im sure from our fun trip from Elpaso together...It broke my heart to hear of his passing and i miss his smile and laugh so much..I will always Love you chad! We called him chaddy..

Chad and I became friends at Mandeville High School. It's been 30+ years of friendship. To share a memory, I want to remember our first date. We got pulled over on the way to the mall. Our friends kept driving. When we were back on our way, we got lost. We drove around Slidell for hours, laughing and talking, and lost. We ended up at a Marina and for months he called me "Marina" as a nick-name. The nickname didn't last forever, but our friendship did.

Chad's smile, laugh, and love will live forever on my soul.
