DEVOTED COUPLE MAISIE L. BAIRD, loving wife, 89, passed away Thursday, November 23, 2017, at her home following a long illness. CHARLES H. BAIRD, loving husband, 90, passed away shortly thereafter on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at the Hospitals of Providence Sierra Campus. They were longtime residents of El Paso, Texas. Charles was a veteran and retired postal worker. They are survived by their children Rachel Baird-Fancella and David Baird. Maisie is also survived by her daughter, Byrgen Finkelman. Burial service will be at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, Friday, December 15, 2017 at 10:30 a.m. The family has requested that no flowers be sent, instead please make donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, a charity they supported. www.stjude.org/ Chuck wrote the following to his wife many years ago showing both his depth of love and wry sense of humor.
