Our beloved angel Christy Elena Diaz was called by our Heavenly Father Sunday morning, August 27, 2017 at the age of 37. She suffered from Retts Syndrome. She is survived by mother Elena and father Jose (Joe) Diaz; siblings Cindy Garlock (Dan), Joseph Jr. (Laura), and Steve (Kayleen); nephews Fred Villalba (Joselyn), Joel Villalba (Liz), Adrian Villalba (Mayra), Julian Villalba (April), Joseph Diaz III (Alexis), Donald Diaz and nieces Jennifer Lopez (Joseph), Shirley Jaquez (Norman), Alicia Fay (Todd); 11 grand nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 30, 2017 from 5-9pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home-East with a rosary at 7pm. Funeral mass will be held Thursday, August 31, 2017 at 9:30am at St. Raphael Catholic Church. Interment to follow at Mt. Carmel Cemetery.
