

It is with a heavy heart that we announce the passing of our Father Concepcion “Chon” Villarreal born on August 18th, 1922 and peacefully passed away at the age of 100 years old on October 25th, 2022. He was a native El Pasoan whom served in the United States Navy and was a World War II Veteran. He retired from Cummins Southwest after 35 years of service as a Diesel Mechanic. Our Father was a character always making people laugh, cracking jokes. He was the fittest 100 year old man that you could know. He always said, his secret to a long life was drinking a lot of water and eating bean burritos. He is preceded in death by his father Hipolito Villarreal, mother Josefina Vasquez, sister Teresa Chavez, wife Maria Villarreal and his sons Hipolito and Antonio Villarreal, his grandson Ernie Joe Villarreal and granddaughter Veronica “Nica” Villarreal. He is survived by his sister Juana Ortega, along with his loving children, Louie Garcia, Jose Manuel Villarreal (wife Bonnie), Josefina Esther Martinez, Martha E.Mendoza (husband Martin), Charlie Villarreal, Blanca Villarreal, children by marriage: Yolanda Monson, Juanita Spradley, Rebecca Morales, Linda Torres, Julian Torres, grandchildren and grandson Robert Spradley. He is also survived by 21 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren along with several nieces, nephews and friends. Our Father will forever be missed but never forgotten.
Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday November 10th at 9:00am at St. Jude Catholic Church- 4006 Hidden Way, El Paso, TX 79922
Following the Mass will be a Graveside Committal Service on Thursday November 10th at 11:00am at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery- 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906
