Sonny is survived by his wife, Emma A. Morales; his son David Michael Morales; his daugther Margaret Morales (David Cubillos).

A marine military honors for Sonny will be held Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM to 10:15 AM at Guardian Angel Catholic Church, 3021 Frutas Ave, El Paso, Texas 79905. A rosary will occur Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 10:15 AM to 11:00 AM, 3021 Frutas Ave, El Paso, Texas 79905. A memorial mass will occur Thursday, November 14, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM, 3021 Frutas Ave, El Paso, Texas 79905.
