Cynthia Acosta

It is with heartfelt sorrow that we share the peaceful passing of our beautiful mother, Cynthia Acosta, 63. She was called home to be with the Lord on September 17, 2026 in the comfort of her own home while surrounded by loved ones.

Born and raised in El Paso, Texas, she is survived by her father Jose Cruz Gallegos and her mother Irma Yolanda Gallegos. Throughout her journey, she was blessed with the unwavering love and support of her uncles Ricardo, Johnny, Armando Gallegos, and our Auntie Locha.

Cynthia was the wife of Lorenzo Ramirez where they shared 36 beautiful years of marriage where he loved her fiercely until her final breath. She devoted her life to her 4 children, Diana Yvette Gallegos, Cecilia Marie Acosta, JoDaniel Acosta and Loren Ramirez. She leaves behind her beloved four-legged companion, Emmitt, who never left her side keeping her warm every night. We, her children, will honor her memory in everything we do.

She was a cherished and lifelong source of comfort to her younger sisters Barbara Wiles and Annette Gallegos as well as to her brother-in-law, Mike Wiles. She will forever be remembered for her thoughtful and giving nature.

She leaves behind her grandchildren; Julian, Alyssa, and Draya and her son-in-law, Christopher Ochoa. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews; Jose, David, Amanda, Dillon, Sheena, Hector, Ariana, Estrella, Francesca, Davey, Lilly, Betito, Elijah, Mallory, Kimberly, and Hayley. The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. We will all continue to celebrate your life and carry you with us wherever we go. Rest in eternal peace, mom. We love you so much.
