November 27, 1952 - November 11, 2025
Cynthia Edna Valenzuela, aka Cindy & Shorty. Cindy was born November 27, 1952. Cindy was a proud graduate of Jefferson High School Class of 1971. Cynthia was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend, passed away peacefully, leaving behind a legacy of love, faith, and compassion. A faithful Catholic, Cynthia’s life was a reflection of her deep devotion to God and her family. Though she left us too soon, she is now reunited in eternal peace with her beloved son, Adrian R. Valenzuela, her parents, and her brother.
Cynthia was the glue that held the Valenzuela family together — the heart, strength, and foundation that guided them through life’s joys and challenges. She always thought of everyone else before herself, ensuring her family was cared for, supported, and deeply loved. Her presence brought comfort, her wisdom brought guidance, and her kindness brought light to all who knew her.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Tony (Antonio) Valenzuela; her daughters, Gina Valenzuela and Stephanie Gonzalez (Adrian) her grandsons, Adrian, Brandon, Nicholas Valenzuela, Christian Ochoa, and Victor Gonzalez; her granddaughter, Rozlynn Gonzalez; and her great-grandson Eli, great-granddaughters, Lainey Valenzuela, Eilani Ochoa and Oaklynn Gonzalez. She is also survived by her dear sisters, Diana Avila and Delma Martinez, and nieces/nephews. We will forever carry her spirit in our hearts.
The family finds comfort in knowing that, despite the profound challenges they face, Cynthia’s lessons of kindness, love, and resilience will remain their guiding light. Her legacy will endure in the hearts of everyone fortunate and blessed enough to have known her.
“The memory of the righteous is blessed.” – Proverbs 10:7
Gone from our sight, but never from our hearts.
“You gotta have heart.”
