Born in El Paso to Ramon Mendoza and Guadalupe Cota, Daniel built a life defined by creativity, loyalty, and an unmistakable larger‑than‑life spirit. A proud graduate of Ysleta High School’s Class of 1987, he went on to become an esteemed Licensed Architect, pouring his passion for design into every project he touched.
Music was woven into the fabric of who he was—especially the sounds of Van Halen—and he never wavered in his devotion to his Dallas Cowboys. Above all, Daniel carried a deep and enduring love for the people in his life, a love that will remain in the hearts of all who knew him.
One of his greatest joys was the anticipation of becoming a grandfather. Though he never had the chance to meet his beloved grandson, it is something that will forever be part of his legacy.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Ramon and Guadalupe, and his brother Victor.
Daniel is survived by his loving bride, Rebecca; his children, Danielle, Celina, Daniel, and Carlos; his grandson, Jonathan Salvador; and his siblings, Juanita, Monica, Olga, and Ray. His memory will continue to inspire and uplift those who were fortunate enough to share in his life.
