Darlene Sudbury Morrison, age 86, of Canutillo, TX, passed away June 24, 2026, in La Mesa, NM. She was a life-long resident of El Paso, Tx and the surrounding areas. She attended Austin High School, and throughout her life was a seasoned bookkeeper and was skilled and successful in her various small businesses. She married Edward Douglas Morrison and began her large family at a young age. Her many pleasures came from listening to Bible-based teachings, gardening, crocheting, dancing, karaoke, swimming, reading, crossword puzzles, and playing games. She was a member of Abundant Church for more than forty years, having attended when service was held in an old railroad hall. Her devotion for God Almighty, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit was unwavering! She was preceded in death by her father, Earl Sudbury, her mother Lena Bell Sudbury, her older brother, Earl Jr. Sudbury, and her husband, Edward Douglas Morrison. She is lovingly survived by her younger brother, Tommy Dee Sudbury (Susie), her son, Glen Edward Morrison (Rosellor), daughters Deborah Kay Dunn (Donald), Katherine Anne Donnelly (Jeffrey), Tracy Leigh Duggan (Richard), Melissa Jeanne Rivera (Ulises), grandchildren Elizabeth, Kenneth, Jeffrey, Nickie, William, Cody, Matthew, Eddie, Ty, Sadee, and Douglas, and ten great-grandchildren. Funeral arrangements and services entrusted to Martin Funeral Home West, 128 N Resler Dr., El Paso, TX 79912. Visitation June 30, 2026, from 6:30pm-8:00pm. Funeral service will begin July 01, 2026, at 10am. Interment immediately following at Memory Gardens of the Valley, 4900 McNutt Rd, Santa Teresa, NM 88008. Celebration of Life Reception is at 12:30pm at Christ is the Only Answer Church, 303 Principal St., La Mesa, NM 88044.
