David Garcia

David was born on August 23, 1951, to Alicia Franco and Gregorio Garcia. He is survived by his loving wife, Lillian; daughter, Brenda Paul; grandchildren, Jasmine Rodriguez (Angel) and Lorenzo Uribe (Emily); and eight great-grandchildren: Damian, Eva, Dom, Nathan, Issa, Cami, Aviana, and Aliyah.

He is also survived by his brothers, Bobby Garcia and Edmundo Garcia; mother-in-law, Carmen Jacques; sisters-in-law, Susana Garcia, Isabel Garcia, Lupe Garcia, Vangie Sanchez,and Cindy Jacques; and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was predeceased by his parents; his brothers, Greg Garcia, Rudy Garcia, and Hector Garcia; his father-in-law, Alfredo (Lelo) Jacques; his sister-in-law, Melissa Jacques; and his nephews, Louie Garcia and Rudy Lee Garcia.

David had a generous heart, a kind nature, and a great sense of humor. He will be profoundly missed by all who knew him. David was a veteran of the U.S. Army, he completed two years of honorable service. He looked forward to his Tuesday morning Bel Air Alumni breakfasts and his Thursday lunches with the Post Office retirees. He also enjoyed spending time with his friends at the Ale House, including Juan, Bill, Ben, Alex, and others who affectionately knew him as 'Cuervo'. An avid sports fan, he dedicatedly followed the Tennessee Titans, Boston Celtics, and Houston Astros. Christmas was his favorite time, gathering with family, spending time outdoors working in the yard, and grilling.

A Holy Rosary will be recited on August 13, 2026 at 9:00 a.m. at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter and a mass at 10:30 a.m. at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Catholic Church 1700 George Dieter. Services will conclude after the mass.
