David Samuel Grijalva

David was preceded in death by his parents Juanita and Jose Grijalva.

He is survived by his siblings: Stella Moeller – El Paso; Abraham Grijalva – El Paso; Kathleen Latham – Fairfax, Virginia; Eva Simons – El Paso; and Christine Grijalva – El Paso.David was born on November 16, 1949 in El Paso, Texas. He graduated from Fabens High School and served in the U.S. Army from 1970-1972. The family would like to give thanks to the Veterans Administration for his care during his long illness, and also to all his medical support including Dr. Tarin, Rafael Aguirre, Terry Hammond, and all state and county caregivers who helped David during his time of need.The family will receive friends and relatives on Thursday, April 7, 2011 from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East with recitation of the Rosary to begin at 6:30 pm. Funeral Mass will be Friday, April 8, 2011 at 12:00 pm at San Elizario Mission. Interment will follow at Ft. Bliss Cemetery at 2pm where he will be laid to rest with military honors.David, you will remain in our hearts forever until we meet again in the loving embrace of our Lord. We love you.
