Laura, Ralph & Family Members:

We were extremely saddened at the news of David passing away. Though we never got to meet him, its as if we knew him as his dearest mom, Ms. Lucy (RIP) would speak so highly of him and she loved him dearly.

He left this world at such a young age......he still had so much more love, friendship, and caring to provide for family, friends, and co-workers.

May he now rest in the arms of our Lord; may be find the peace he was in search of; and may he be happy now that he has joined his mamacita in Heaven.

Praying that our Lord watch over and bless you, Laura, Ralph, and family members during this extremely difficult time in life. May the memories you have of him be carried in your heart forever and ever.

P.S. David, please say hello to our precious Lucy.

David,
Words can’t express the sorrow we feel at your leaving us. It seems like we had all the time in the world, only to realize how short life really is. I wish we had done and said the things we always intended to while you were here.

I personally will always remember the times we rode motorcycles in McKelligon Canyon, drank too much Guinness Stout, and generally acted like the fools we were. Those were some of the best times of my life. We promised to do it again sometime, but life got in the way and we never did. I wish we had.

You served your country and family with honor and distinction. You touched the hearts of many, and we all owe you a lifetime of gratitude. We were lucky to have known you. We are better for it. We will miss you terribly.

“And his lord said unto him, Well done, thou good and faithful servant… enter thou into the joy of thy lord” Matt 25.23

Dave,
Thank you for being the best grandpa to your little monster (Isaac) and your little princess (Alyssa). You always showed them love, and always made time to spend with them. Although we are left with a sad heart, we will have your memories with us always.

I love you grandpa and have so many great memories with you growing up I can’t believe I won’t have more. All the times we went to the PX for Anthony and your haircuts. When you took us to meet Terrel Owens and stood in line for like 3 hours with us but never complained. You’re delicious salmon, your secrets to making the best spaghetti and your smoked wings. You always told my sister and me how pretty we looked and always made us feel beautiful. Thank you for always being patient and showing us nothing but love and happiness. I love you grandpa. I wish I could’ve said goodbye but I know your looking down smiling and at peace. You will always be in my heart.

Love you David - I remember how we used to walk to high school together laughing and joking all the way. Seems like yesterday. When I saw you last year you were so strong, you woke up everyday at 5 and worked out in your home gym. I was very happy and proud of you. I remember when you retired from the Army in 2008 - again so proud of your service. I thought you were going to live forever, atleast as long as your grandpa Papa. You always made me feel important. I appreciate that. You always did things your way.
