Delfina T. Garcia

Delfina T. Garcia will be remembered as a woman whose heart was open to everyone. She was funny, loving, and truly a friend to all. Anyone who came to her door in need was welcomed with kindness, generosity, and compassion—she never turned anyone away.

She found joy in life’s simple and beautiful moments. She loved to dance, filling rooms with her energy and spirit, and she found peace in feeding the birds in her backyard, a quiet reflection of her gentle and caring nature.

Delfina leaves behind a large and loving family who will continue to carry her memory in their hearts. She is survived by her children: Ralph, Delia, Sylvia and Terry; her grandchildren: Deidra, Justin, Desiree, Crystal, Isaiah, Reagan, Ambrye, and Alijiah; and her great-grandchildren: Jaydn, Dimagio, Dominic, Santiago, and Levi. Son-in-laws: Ruben Chavez and Darrell Warren and daughter-in-law Michelle Garcia.

She is now reunited in heaven with her beloved husband, Rafael R. Garcia, and her great-grandson, Matthew Olivas.

This will be a celebration of Delfina’s life. In honor of her love for color, family and friends are invited to wear bright, beautiful colors as we gather to remember her.

Delfina’s love, laughter, and kindness will live on in all who knew her.

Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915, on April 22, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm. Words of Comfort will be offered on April 22, 2026, from 6:30 pm to 7:00 pm. A Rosary will follow at Hillcrest Funeral Home on April 22, 2026, beginning at 7:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St Pius X Catholic Church, 1050 N Clark Dr, El Paso, Texas 79905, on April 23, 2026, at 10:00 am. Graveside Service will take place at Mt Carmel Cemetery, 401 S Zaragoza Rd, El Paso, TX 79907, US, on April 23, 2026, at 11:30 am.
