Delmar E. Hill, Jr. was born August 10, 1947, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to late Esther (Ballenger) Hill and Delmar E. Hill, Sr. He passed away peacefully at 78 on June 25, 2026, with his wife LaRue at his side.
He attended UTEP and graduated from El Paso Community College. In 1971 he married his wife LaRue Lamb and followed her to El Paso, where she was attending UTEP and he enrolled.
He worked on Fort Bliss before going to the United States Postal Service where he retired from.
He enjoyed reading, traveling, etc.
He is survived by his wife LaRue Lamb of 55 years and a host of nieces and nephews.
