Dr. George Biro passed away on Sunday, December 13, 2015. He was born in Hungary in 1928. Dr. Biro was a holocaust survivor at the age of 16, being the sole survivor of his family. In 1957, Dr. Biro made his way to the United States, finally settling in El Paso in 1977. El Paso is where he called home for over 40 years and practiced family medicine, being praised as a dedicated doctor. Funeral services will be held on Monday, December 14, 2015 at 2:00 pm at B’nai Zion Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Chabad Lubavitch at 6615 Westwind Dr. El Paso, TX 79912. Services officiated by Rabbi Yisrael Greenberg.
