Edmundo B. Camacho

Edmundo B. Camacho, 75, passed away Thursday, August 24, 2017. He was a longtime resident of El Paso and a member of the Catholic Church where he was an Acts Brother in the community. Edmundo served in the U.S. Navy and Air Force and is a Vietnam Veteran. He also served proudly in the El Paso Police Department and retired from the department after 26 years of hard work and dedication, along with working as a CSO at the Federal Court House for 21 years. Edmundo is preceded in death by his parents; Patricio and Anastasia Camacho and brother; Patricio Camacho, Jr. He is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Margarita Camacho, children; Nancy Gonzalez (Frank), Sylvia Trancoso (Joseph), Monica Rosskopf (John), Jesus Anchondo (Michelle), and Luis Anchondo (Irene), twelve grandchildren and one great grandchild. Visitation for Edmundo will be held Monday, August 28th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at St. Raphael Catholic Church with Vigil at 7:00 pm. Funeral mass will be Tuesday, August 29th at 9:30 am at St. Raphael Catholic Church with interment to follow at Fort Bliss National Cemetery with military honors. Mr. Camacho was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend and will be greatly missed by all who knew him. May he rest in peace.
