Edmundo was born on October 30, 1925, in Parral, Chihuahua to parents Ramon and Guadalupe Espinoza. After he was emancipated from his parents at the age of 13, he started his life in El Paso, TX with only an 8th grade education. With nothing but ambition he struggled to build his life in the US. However, he was determined and hardworking, therefore successfully managed to live a blessed life to the fullest.
Edmundo Espinoza was a generous and loving man, taking in and caring for many family members, friends, and anyone else who he came across in need. He was a truck driver for Farmers Dairies for 27 years, which made him popular with the neighborhood kids when he would come home and let them select an ice cream. After retiring from Farmers Dairies, he went on to open a restaurant with his son and wife called Banq-Quik Deli Shop.
Edmundo was a very active soul who loved the outdoors with deer hunting trips with his buddies, riding his motorcycle, taking his speed boat to the lake, camping and traveling trips in his RV with his whole family by his side, as well as welcoming anyone else who was willing to join. He was married to his beloved wife Dolores “Lola” Irene Espinoza. She supported Edmundo in all his endeavors, always by his side. They also lived a very social life full of family gatherings, winning many dancing contests, and traveling all while raising their family.
He was preceded in death by his beautiful wife, Lola Espinoza; his first wife Lilia Espinoza; his father and mother, Ramon and Guadalupe Espinoza; his siblings, Humberto Espinoza, Noel Espinoza, and Marcia Aldaz; his daughters, Deborah Castillo and Belinda Ayala. He is survived by his sister Lilia Pryer; his children, Edmundo Espinoza Jr., Virginia Winger (David), Isela Yvonne Lopez (Jose), and Veronica Alvarez (Manny), Marcy Jessup (Kevin); grandchildren, Kirsten, Joshua, and Maya Espinoza; Samantha Grey and Amanda Sienna Lopez; Brianna Alexis and Christian Adam Alvarez; Roberta, Gina, and Zachary Castillo; Sheldon, Clifford, and Clayton Jessup; Deborah Navarro, Derek and Daryl Ayala; and numerous great-grandchildren. He was blessed to see his latest great-grandchild, Zackary Oliver, turn 2 years old and share all his milestones before reuniting with Lola, who has been waiting to dance with him in Heaven.
