Eduardo Portillo

Eduardo, our dearest Dad, Grampa and “Pa”, passed away peacefully to be with his Heavenly Father. He was Catholic and had an immense faith in God.

Eduardo was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Romelia, who had passed away only 8 months before.

He was also preceded in death by his parents Damaso and Juanita Portillo, and his daughters Dora Maria Portillo and Patricia Portillo.

Eduardo is survived by his his son Pedro Portillo (Rosalba); daughter Josi (Ipi) Suerken (Jim); daughter Isabel Romo (David); son Eduardo Portillo, Jr.

He is also survived by his grandchildren: Bethany Portillo, Ava Portillo, Jimmy Suerken, Jesia Boykin (Matt), Trisha Mellon (Ian), Ashley Okotie-Eboh (Omare), Davey Romo, Nicholas Ivan Portillo, Stephen Daniel Portillo, Stephanie Nicole Portillo. Great granddaughters: Linri Grace Boykin, Sailee Jo Boykin, Sofia Michelle Suerken.

Eduardo was an Operating Engineer. He established and was the proud owner of EP Machinery Movers, Inc. in El Paso, Texas.

He traveled frequently to Las Vegas. He loved El Paso, Cathedral High School and UTEP.

Our dearest Pa, we will always remember you telling us, “ No speeding tickets and don’t run the red lights”.

We will miss you dearly, we will see each other again.
