Edward was 89 and was born in Pawtucket, Rhode Island on April 7,1936 to Antonio B. Santos and Elvira Ribeiro Santos. He graduated from West High School and served in the U.S. Army for 26 years and GSA at Fort Bliss for another 26 years. He was stationed in Germany for much of his Army days. He made a lot of very close friends there and was an honored member to a very prestigious Gun Club that he would attend there every year.
Edward is survived by his daughter Penny and granddaughters Cheyanne and Samantha Crawford. His siblings, Joseph Santos, Nancy Hilton, Mary Wood, Henry Santos.
Edward is preceded in death by his mother and father and his brothers Anthony, David, Ronald.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 am to 1:30 pm with a funeral service at 1:30 pm on January 21, 2026, at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn, 8817 Dyer St, El Paso, Texas, 79904.
The committal service will take place at 2:30 pm at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX, 79906.
