

Entering into eternal life and glory with his Lord Jesus Christ, Efren L. Brito passed away at the age of 48 on Thursday, May 11, 2017 in El Paso, Texas. Efren courageously fought a year-long battle with colon cancer, earning admiration from all who witnessed his perseverance to live and provide for his family and loved ones. In losing his fight with cancer, Efren has won an eternity in heaven where cancer is powerless and he will live victoriously with God forever.
On March 7, 1969, Efren Lorenzo Brito was born to Lorenzo and Maria Elena Brito in Phoenix, Arizona. Efren married his wife, Linda Garcia, in El Paso, Texas in 1993. He had a passion for knowledge and academics from a young age and began to excel early on in his education. He was a talented, successful entrepreneur and salesperson. He had a passion for his business and powered through his daunting chemotherapy sessions, still showing up to work despite his condition. He was a naturally gifted leader and his positive energy was contagious. Efren also had an intense passion for the Lord. He was an avid member of Calvary Chapel Sun City and consistently attended weekly bible studies. Efren was a very generous man and made weekly charitable donations to his place of worship and was always willing to help a friend in need.
Efren is survived by his beloved wife, Linda Brito; his three daughters, Siara, Mia, and Elina Brito; his mother, Maria Elena Porras Brito; his three brothers, Carlos, Martin, and Marcos Brito; his sister, Sarai Rubio; and many loving nieces, nephews, and extended family. He is predeceased by his father, Lorenzo Brito. Efren was a loving father, husband, brother, son, and friend to all.
A celebration of his life will be held on Saturday, May 20th at 9am at Hillcrest Funeral Home West; internment to follow at Memory Gardens of the Valley.
