Mr. Efren C. Torres, 97, passed away on August 23, 2026. Born on August 5, 1929, Mr. Torres will be remembered with deep respect and enduring affection by all who had the privilege to know him. His life reflected a steady warmth and consideration for others, and the quiet strength of a truly kind-hearted man.
Mr. Torres was a resident of El Paso, Texas, where his presence and care for those around him left a lasting imprint. To family and friends, he was beloved—not only for the years he lived, but for the gracious way he lived them, offering kindness that was felt in both word and deed.
Mr. Torres is survived by his daughters, Sylvia Torres and Lucille Torres; his sons, Rommel Torres and Christopher Torres; his granddaughter, Desiree Torres; and his great grandson, Levi Carbajal.
Visitation will be held at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915, on September 3, 2026, from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm. A Prayer Service will follow at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Dr., El Paso, Texas 79915, on September 3, 2026, from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm. Graveside Service will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906, on September 3, 2026, from 2:30 pm to 3:00 pm.
