Our Mother, Elena Tovar De Carranco, 82, passed to a better place on February 8, 2017. In her lifetime she would see a silver lining during dark times, and never stopped seeing the beauty of this world. She would always encourage her children to better themselves in all aspects of life. There is a great void in our hearts with your passing. We can take comfort knowing you are no longer in pain. We will try to fill that void in our hearts with cherished memories of you; your children Susan, John, Sergio, Lupe, and Eduardo, and her grandchildren, Robert, Ben, Daniel, Theresa, Elizabeth, and Adam. Visitation will be held on Sunday, February 12, 2017 from 5:00-9:00pm at Hillcrest-Carolina with a Vigil/Rosary at 7:00pm. Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, February 13, 2017 at 9:30am at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church with Interment to follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
