Elena “Nena” Martinez, born September 1, 1925, joined the Lord on August 28th 2015. She was married to Samuel Martinez for 65 years. Elena had 3 children; adopted 1 child; raised 2 grandchildren. She had 7 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren. The family thanks the wonderful care CIMA Hospice provided. Her favorite bible verse was Psalm 91: He who dwells in the secret place of the most high shall abide under the standards of the Almighty. Visitation: 11:00am-1:00pm, Monday, August 31, 2015 with Prayer Service at 1:00pm. Interment: Evergreen East Cemetery. Service under direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME -Carolina 598-3332
