Elizabeth Mariscal, 59, was welcomed into the kingdom of heaven on April 16, 2026. Full of love for life and a fire that always burned- we will remember her for her commitment towards improving our community through integrity, service and compassion. Over the duration of her lifetime, she advocated for crime victim services, provided counseling for not only veterans but countless community members, and helped small businesses thrive. Through her curiosity of the world, she grew her thirst for knowledge by consistently seeking continued education that led her to being the highly accomplished and intelligent person that many knew her to be. A longtime resident of El Paso since birth she was known for her immense generosity, courage and ability to always go above and beyond. Her warmth and willingness to give love so freely will serve as an inspiration to all of us who knew her.
Elizabeth is survived by her loving Daughter Jean Mora; Father Uvaldo Mariscal; Sisters Arlene Mariscal, Mary Andrade, Estela Gasca and Irma Gasca; her Brothers David Gasca, Rene Gasca, Joel Gasca and Richard Mariscal; and numerous extended family, friends and colleagues. She is preceded by her Mother Luz Mariscal, Brother Uvaldo Jr. Mariscal and Husband Marcos Mora.
A large extension of gratitude for the campaign of her healthcare treatment and loving support is relayed to Amber, Arlene, Rica, Ita, Israel, Orly, Nathaniel, Roman, Roger, Ruth, Cece, Rosalva, Yvette, Mia, Leslie and Leah.
The pallbearers present at the ceremony will be: Uvaldo Mariscal, Israel Villa, David Gasca, Rene Gasca and Nene Gasca.
In honor of her completed circle of life, we ask that you celebrate her birthday by wearing your brightest colors for her rosary such as her new favorite color blue, florals or classic red and pink. At her final church mass and burial, we ask that traditional funeral attire be worn for her final respects. As a tribute to her final resting place, a gift of florals would be a wonderful gesture. Thank you kindly in advance for the gift of your presence and support in her transition to the everlasting salvation of heaven.
