She is preceded in death by her husband Arturo J Rodriguez, son in law Alfredo Chavez, and grandson Mikey Madrid Jr. She is survived by daughters Margarita Chavez, Maria Madrid, Barbara Villescas, sons Arturo Rodriguez Jr., Albert Rodriguez, Michael Rodriguez, sons in law Mike Madrid, Pete Villescas, daughters in law Bertha Rodriguez, Lily Vasquez, sister Frances Ayala, brother Frankie Murphy, 18 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.

A visitation for Elvira will be held Monday, December 18, 2023 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Hillcrest Funeral Home, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A rosary will occur Monday, December 18, 2023 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM, 1060 North Carolina Drive, El Paso, TX 79915. A funeral will occur Monday, December 18, 2023 from 12:30 PM to 2:00 PM at St. Stephen Deacon & Martyr Church, 1700 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, TX 79936. A committal will occur Monday, December 18, 2023 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery, 8700 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904.
