A beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away on December 5, 2025, at the age of 82, surrounded by his family. Born on March 13, 1943, in El Paso, Texas to Maria Elena Rivera and Enrique Rivera Sr. He had a passion for baseball and played in his younger years. He joined the US Army in 1963 and also served in the Army Reserves as well as US National Guard. He was also an avid Dallas Cowboys fan. He will be remembered for his beautiful smile, and his incredible strength and kindness that he showed to all who knew him.
He leaves behind a loving family who will always cherish his memory. He is survived by his five daughters, Marsha Rivera, Debbie Rivera, Kathy Rivera, Cynthia Rivera, and Selena Rivera. His siblings Ida Serrano, Roberto Rivera and Cynthia Hernandez. In addition, he is survived by dozens of beloved nieces, nephews, cousins, and his many grandchildren and great grandchildren that he cherished with all his heart.

A graveside service will be held at Fort Bliss National Cemetery, located at 5200 Fred Wilson Ave, El Paso, TX 79906, on December 22, 2025, at 1:00 pm.
