He graduated from Ysleta High school and pursued the career of electrician with an ambition for the work. He served his community doing his life work as an electrician for over 40 years with various locally owned and operated companies in El Paso, retiring at the age of 62. A devoted, passionate lifelong fan of the Dallas Cowboys, who looked forward to NFL season and did not miss a game. He enjoyed his golden years in the company and spirits of his fellow patrons of the VIP lounge and The Bar. A kindhearted, gentle man who was willing to help those around him in any way he could. He will be remembered, missed by those who knew and loved him.
He is survived by his brother, Jose Guadalupe Gutierrez, his brother Jose Luis Gutierrez, his brother Eustacio Jaime Gutierrez and sister Irma McCabe. Ernesto will be joining his decreased parents, Eustacio and Eva Gutierrez, in the glory of our Lord.
Visitation will be held on March 9, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn Funeral Home, 8817 Dyer, El Paso, TX 79904.
