

Esperanza C Leroy, passed away on January 25, 2026, at the age of 87. She was a resident of El Paso, Texas. Esperanza was a strong, independent woman whose life left a lasting mark on her family, her community, and everyone fortunate enough to know her.
She loved her boys and adored her grandchildren beyond measure. She was always there — there when times were good, there when times were hard, and there whenever she was needed.
She loved sports, especially softball, and her passion and dedication earned her a Hall of Fame award for Senior Softball Games, an achievement she carried with pride. She also loved Elvis Presley more than anyone you’ve ever met, the Dallas Cowboys, and the color red, all of which reflected her bold spirit and vibrant personality.
She was known throughout El Paso, Esperanza was deeply loved by her community. She seemed to know everyone, and it always made for the best gatherings and celebrations.
Esperanza took care of things. Whether stepping up to handle family affairs or fixing what needed fixing around the house, she was dependable and capable and handled everything with care, pride, and determination.
She built her own Home Bar, bookshelves, and sheds. She was infamous for her incredible cooking as well as beautifully designed birthday cakes, Rum cakes, and plates of Christmas cookies.
Esperanza lived a life of love, service, strength, and faith. She touched countless hearts, and she will be widely remembered, not only for what she did, but for who she was. Her legacy lives on through her family, her community, and the many lives she enriched.
Visitation will be held at Funeraria del Angel Restlawn Funeral Home, located at 8817 Dyer, El Paso, TX, 79904, on February 3, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm with Rosary Service at 7:00 pm.
