Esperanza A. Luna

Esperanza Luna, loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother left her dwelling place on earth to be with our heavenly father, Sunday, February 11, 2018 at the age of 82. Lifelong resident of El Paso (Ysleta) TX. Born on August 15, 1935 to Marcos and Petra Aleman. She was a member of the Catholic Church. Left to cherish her memory are her children: Ruben Luna (Nancy) of El Paso, Hector Luna of El Paso, David Luna (Alma) of Tucson, AZ, Irene Rodriguez (Ramon) of La Mesa NM, Norma Chacon (Jaime) of El Paso and Bertha Luna of El Paso. Other survivors include her grandchildren: Stephen (Melissa), Jason, Allison, Vanessa (Rudy), Valerie, Cynthia, Sara, Selena, Eddie (Letty), Hector Jr. (Cecy), Deanna, Jaime III (Pamela), Jeremiah (Stella), Desiree (Jeff) & Danah. Her great grandchildren: Ezra, Esai, Destiny, Benjamin, Tiffany, Sebastian, Isaac, Ryan, Ethan, Evan, Dominic, Madison & Devina. Surviving brothers include: Arnoldo Aleman, Uvaldo Aleman (California) & Humberto Aleman and her sister Guadalupe Arellano. Preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Luna, her parents and brothers, Alfonso and Armando Aleman and sister Adelina Aleman. Visitation will be at 5:00 PM on Tuesday, February 20, 2018 at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter, where the prayer vigil is scheduled at 7:00 PM. Family and friends will join together to celebrate the Funeral Liturgy at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at Corpus Christi Catholic Church, 9205 N. Loop Rd. The Rite of Committal and interment will follow at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson where she will be laid to rest. Serving as pall bearers will be her grandchildren.
