Esperanza Macias Morales

Esperanza “Hope” was born in Aguascalientes, Mexico, and later moved to the United States, where she built a loving and devoted family alongside her husband, Jesus F. Morales. The lovely couple shared 50 years of marriage filled with love and joy. Esperanza spent decades of her life as a florist sharing her creativity throughout El Paso, as an elite designer in both personal and commercial projects.

Known for her elegance and grace, Esperanza brought warmth and light into every room she entered. She was a devout Christian in the Church of Christ where she will often be remembered for her leadership and willingness to help. Her evenings were spent with her husband, surrounded by the comforting scent of her Chanel powder and a selection of pajamas for each day of the week.

Esperanza enjoyed watching sports, crocheting, and had the blessing to spend time with both her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Family and friends will remember her for her distinct fashionable style, salt-and-pepper hair, and her gentle nature. reflected in what many have described as the softest hands with bright polished nails.

She enjoyed crafting crocheted scarves and blankets, playing guitar with friends, and sharing her vibrant personality and cultural spirit with those around her. Esperanza was known for her love of music and the warmth she brought to her home and family. She spent her last moments surrounded by the people she loved, and birds whistling calling her to be at rest.

She is survived by her nine children and their spouses: Mary Lou Landeros; Jesusita M. Sanchez and spouse Ruben Sanchez; David Morales and spouse Ruby Morales; Gloria Reeves preceded by spouse Patrick Reeves; Veronica Morales Urbina and spouse Randy Urbina; Jesse Morales; Deborah Morales Garcia and spouse Juan Garcia; Ruben Elenez and spouse Michelle Elenez; and Espie Elenez. She is also survived by her sibling, Manuel Macias.

Esperanza Morales also leaves behind 16 grandchildren and 21 great grand-children, all of whom will continue to carry her legacy forward.

The Morales Family will receive relatives and friends on June 20th, 2026 from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Martin Funeral Home, 1460 George Dieter Dr, El Paso, TX 79936.
