Esperanza U. Uvina Morales

On May 25, 2015, on the dawn of a beautiful morning, sun streaming through her window, birds singing, Mrs. Esperanza Uviña Morales, our beloved Nena, made her transition to our Lord. She was 93 years young. She takes with her, the loving hands that caressed and consoled so many. Hands that prepared bountiful meals and leafed through pages of readings for the young and stories of lessons well spoken. Her beautiful hands nurtured not only our living souls, but planted the glorious gardens we enjoyed every year throughout the seasons. Her hands held and guided the future generations not only in our family, but in so many others. Her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren were privileged to be guided by her goodness, patience and a loving heart. She is preceded in death by her husband, Cristobal G. Morales. She is survived by her children Cristobal Morales Jr., Edmundo Morales, Irma Morales, including her daughters-in-law, Maria and Lupe. Her grandchildren are Yvette, Andres, Patricia, Christopher III, and Rebecca. Her great-grandchildren include Yasmine, Jakob, Genesis, Benicio, Daniel, and Miranda. We include Ramon Rios and several godchildren. Visitation on Thursday, May 28, 2015 from 6-9pm at Hillcrest Funeral Home with Vigil at 7pm. Funeral Mass on Friday, May 29, 2015 at 10am at Guardian Angel Catholic Church. Interment at Evergreen Cemetery 4301 Alameda. Services are under the direction of HILLCREST FUNERAL HOME 1060 N. Carolina 598-3332.
