Esteban Escobar

Esteban Escobar was born on April 22, 1932 in La Trinidad, Mexico and passed away on June 6, 2024, he was 92. He died peacefully surrounded by loved ones and has returned home to his Savior. In life, he resided in Ciudad Juarez, Mexico, where he married; then migrated to El Paso, TX, where he lived for over 40 years. He worked in construction for large part of his life and during his free time, he sold fruit out of his own truck. He is preceded in death by his parents, Teofilo Escobar and Josefita Armendariz, his daughter Conception Ortiz, brothers Vicente and Jose Escobar and grandchildren Alma I. Sosa and Angel Ortiz. He is survived by his wife Tomasa Escobar Aguilera, children: Guadalupe Sosa, Hipolito Escobar, Gonzala E. Jimenez, and Javier Escobar. Siblings: Everardo, Ofelia, Delfino, Agustin, Refugio, Teresa, and Santos Escobar. Grandchildren: Carolina Santoyo, Diana Sosa, Liribeth Gutierrez, Eric and Leslie Jimenez, Laura Pinales, Javier E. and Alexia Escobar, Emilio A. and Yosellyn Ortiz. Great grandchildren: Lealahni H. and Sebastian Santoyo, Arilene and Gael Martinez, Armando, Aleah, and Allyson D. Gutierrez, Kaylee, Eileen, and Aubrey Pinales, Alayah and Sophia A. Cervantes, Esteban M. and Belen C. Hernandez, Jesus D. and Ezequiel A. Franco.

A visitation for Esteban will be held Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Martin Funeral Home East, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. A vigil will occur Wednesday, June 12, 2024 from 5:30 PM to 6:30 PM, 1460 George Dieter Drive, El Paso, TX 79936. A graveside service will occur Thursday, June 13, 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at Restlawn Memorial Cemetery, 8700 Dyer St, El Paso, TX 79904.
