Estela Ibave Avila, 90, passed away on August 29, 2014 in El Paso, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband: Rafael Avila. Estela is survived by her sons: Rafael Avila Jr. (Linda) and Jaime Avila (Patricia); daughters: Laura Avila, Maria Del Carmen Nuevo (Fernando), Estela Martinez (Fred); 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren and brother: Arturo Ibave. Visitation will be from 5:00 to 9:00 pm on Thursday, September 4, 2014 at Hillcrest Funeral Home-Carolina with a Vigil Service at 7:00 pm. Funeral Mass will be at 9:30 am on Friday, September 5, 2014 at St. Joseph Catholic Church. Interment will follow at Mount Carmel Cemetery.
