On Tuesday, August 30, 2022, Estela Ochoa Muro, loving mother of two children, passed away at the age of 68. Estela was born on January 5, 1954 in El Paso, TX to Eduardo and Consuelo Ochoa. She was the eldest of nine children, and is the mother of two children, Elissa Hayden Lopez and Emerald Earl Hayden III.
Estela was a very loving and caring person. She helped raise and care for her eight brothers and sisters. She was a strong and intelligent woman. She loved books, she loved to write, and occasionally draw. She also loved music and dancing. She was well known for her smiles, her laughter, and her cheerful personality. Anywhere she went, whether it was to the grocery store, or on vacation, she would always say, “It’s an adventure!”
Estela was preceded in death by her father, Eduardo, and her mother, Consuelo. She is survived by her two children, her daughter, Elissa Hayden Lopez, married to Jesus Lopez, and her son Emerald Earl Hayden III, married to Marianne Hayden, and several cousins, nieces, nephews, including her niece Crystal Rae Silva and nephew Reymundo Silva. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, September 17th, 2022 at Hillcrest Funeral Home on 1060 N Carolina Dr, El Paso, TX, 79915 at 3:00pm.
