Etta Louise Hutchinson

Passed away on Tuesday, September 07, 2010 at the age of 102. Etta Louise married Marvin Hutchinson on December 16, 1945 and they began their life together in Cincinnatti, OH. Her profession and passion was teaching elementary school where she mainly taught the first grade. In the early 1970’s they moved to El Paso where she continued to teach and tutor young students. Her husband Marvin,preceded her in death on August 23, 2000. One of her favorite pastimes was healing people with homeopathic remedies. She also had a great compassion for animals and frequently found homes for pets in need. One of her last great adventures was a trip to Montana to visit her great-niece, Dr. Linda Law,and her family in 1997. She was the 9th child of Cornelius and Viola Bolinger and the last surviving child. She is survived by many nieces and nephews, as well as innumerable great ,great- great, and great- great- great, nieces and nephews. Donations may be made to Vista Ysleta UMC in lieu of flowers. Visitation will be at Funeraria Del Angel Martin East on Wednesday, September 8, 2010 from 5-9 P.M. The service will be at Vista Ysleta UMC Thursday, September 9, 2010 at 1:00 P.M. Graveside Service immediately following at Evergreen East.
