Fabens, Texas - Elva M. Garcia, a loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Born in Chihuahua, Mexico on February 26th, 1962. Day of passing February 27th, 2021 caused by complications during a medical procedure. She traveled the beautiful world as a military wife, and opened up a daycare for military personnel. She later became a foster parent for unfortunate kids. After her husband's retirement, she worked at Nolan Middle School in Killeen for 7+ years, making sure every kid had a full belly of food. She later moved to El Paso, received her Associates degree at El Paso Community College and was on track to become an educator pursuing a teaching degree at University of Texas at El Paso. She became a manager at Subway and later worked at Home Depot for over 5 years. She was also a member of the Fabens Alumni Association.
She enjoyed gardening, crafting, cooking complicated dishes, catering for functions, and dancing. She was the life of the party with her contagious laugh. She was a big hearted, selfless person that cherished every moment with friends and family.
Daughter of the late, Daniel Morales and Patrocinia “China” Morales. Elva is survived by Ruben Garcia Sr. married for 36 years, First son, Ruben Garcia Jr., daughter Krystal Garcia Morales, 2nd son, Daniel Garcia and grandson Christopher Santana Morales.
