Fermin is survived by his wife, Margarita Montero; his son Joshua Montero; his daughter Rosa Maria Sanchez; his brothers Gustavo Montero, Arturo Montero, and Hector Montero; his sisters Hilda Holguin, Maria Dolores Montero and Norma Cazares; five grandchildren, one great-granddaughter, extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with Prayer service at 7:00 PM, Thursday, April 11, 2024 at Iglesia Evangelica de Dios en Cristo Jesus, 2328 Grant Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79930. Funeral service will be 10:30 AM, Friday, April 12, 2024 at Iglesia Evangelica de Dios en Cristo Jesus, 2328 Grant Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79930. Graveside service will follow at 2:00 PM at Ft. Bliss National Cemetery, 5200 Fred Wilson Avenue, El Paso, Texas 79906.
